Around five years ago I invested in an
expensive Tempur pillow after I developed shoulder and neck problems
due to joint hypermobility and have not slept a night without it.
After finding it increasingly difficult to sleep on hard mattresses
when travelling, I began to search the net for options which might
help and decided to invest in a travel topper, but the Tempur brand
was prohibitively expensive. Instead I bought an egg-shell type
memory foam topper but it proved to be far too thin and unresponsive
to offer any real support.
I found Summit Toppers website and
warily decided to give their travel set a go as it was much more
affordable than Tempur. I haven’t been disappointed. The thickness
and responsiveness of the topper is perfect to make any bed
comfortable (and it has been used a couple of times for a child to
sleep on the floor with no complaints). The travel pillow seems
slightly harder and deeper than my meduim Tempur version, but has
very similar moulding properties, unlike a couple of other cheaper
memory foam versions I have bought for my children, which were both
too unresponsive.
Last month I decided to try one of the
Summit Toppers full size pillows and am delighted with it. It is near
identical to my original expensive pillow at about ¼ the
price.
I have no ties with Summit Toppers, but
I found it hard to find independent reviews which compared different
brands of memory foam products. It can be risky to buy before trying,
so I thought I’d write this to help people to decide for
themselves.
I am really happy with the products I
have tried so far, I intend to replace my children’s mattresses
with S.T. mattresses this year, and if find these to be just as good,
then my own king size mattress will follow.

Very pleased with my topper and pillows.I never thought I would ever
sleep,without my normal pillow.
One suggestion that would make the whole service better would be for you to sell ( removed by editor.....a good idea, Jan,...... stay tuned) at the same
time, just a thought.

David - We took delivery of our mattress topper on Tuesday, the information
mentioned the smell of the pressure sealed wrapping, but it didn't bother us at
all and, anyway, we were too impatient to wait ! It's one of the best things
we've ever bought, what a difference it makes, and after suffering from a bad
back for years I now sleep without aches and pains ! I can't remember the last
time I got up without feeling 105. My husband is also really impressed, so thank
you for this great product and for the excellent service. We have no qualms
about recommending you to friends and family.

I received my pillow less than 24hrs from ordering, after opening it I decided it was like a brick and I would never be able to use it, that I had wasted £20, being a pensioner that was bad news. In bed it went with me that night I was determined to try it out. What a shock next morning at 7am, I had slept all night, felt refreshed and was not yawning. that was the best nights sleep I have had in well over a year, AMAZING. A great deal of the pain in my neck has also gone. I have at times lost the use of my left arm with this neck, just wait until I see the Doc.next time.

Just wanted to tell you the Mattress Topper I ordered last week arrived safely on Thursday morning and that I am very impressed with it. I have seen quite a few other so called memory foam toppers and non have been of the quality that you supply. We thought the feather mattress topper was comfy in the past but the foam topper was quite amazing! No aches and pains or back ache and a great sleep. I have never felt anything like it, the firm, very well supported feeling and yet such comfort which just moulds to your every move. In one word it is \'Heaven\'.
